device that combines the functions of network switch and wireless access
points. Wireless routers are used to provide connectivity to the World Wide
Web. No cable connection is required. Netgear, Linksys, Motorola, Buffalo technology,
Apple, Cisco, Asus and D-Link are well known wireless routers manufacturers. Wireless
routers use the 802.11g technical specification to transmit information.
