Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited
(BSNL), the state-run communication company has released a Third Generation
(3G) wireless pocket router for Indian rupees 5800. The handy wireless pocket
router has been released in collaboration with another telecom service provider
Shyam networks. This handy pocket device is named Winknet Mf50. The amazing
thing about Winknet Mf50 is the fact that it has the potential to connect more
than one device to the World Wide Web.
This pocket router comes very
handy when you have to connect multiple devices using a single sim card. A 3G
sim card is required to run this pocket device. Winknet Mf50 is sim locked.
Consumers will get a 60 Indian rupees recharge voucher after buying this handy
device. You will get a data usage of about 1GB. Both Shyam telecom and Bharat
Sanchar Nigam Limited is immensely benefited by releasing this device. BSNL
gives the sim cards to Shyam telecom. Shyam telecom with then sell this handy
router.
“We have 3G services throughout India. We are
very pleased with the launch of this amazing device”. BSNL Chairman and
Managing Director told news reporters. “Winknet Mf50 will provide effortless
broadband connectivity for people on the move”. Shyam telecom Executive Vice
President Nafis Kazim told news reporters. This is a win-win deal for both BSNL
and Shyam networks.
BSNL is the second telecom
operator to launch a 3G pocket router in India. Tata Photon released a Wi-Fi
hub a few months back giving customers similar features. Tat Photon router had
the potential to connect to six different devices at the same time and offered
incredible speeds of up to 6 Mbps. Winknet Mf50 is all set to gain a
significant market share over other competitors. This handy wireless pocket
router will be available throughout India for a market price of Indian
rupees 5800.
